Our off rims tire change service at Top Notch Mobile Tire Service is for our customers who use just one set of rims for both their summer and winter tires. Please note: As tires are coming off and on the one set of rims, it is required that all wheels get balanced before being re-installed onto the vehicle.
Seasonal Tire Swap
Commonly referred to ad a seasonal tire swap, Top Notch Mobile Tire Service offers on rims tire change for our customers who have both summer and winter tires are on their own separate sets of rims. This is a more timely and economical service than its off rim counterpart, and in most cases this also means your wheels will not require balancing before being re-installed.
Tire Rotation
Front tires get more wear than rear tires because they do most of the work when the vehicle turns. Calling Top Notch Mobile Tire Service to rotate your tires allows all four tires on your vehicle to wear evenly. Or in other words, tire rotation allows all the tires to spend time on the front of the car, so they all experience the extra wear.
Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
All vehicles 2008 and older are required by law to include a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). This is a dashboard mounted warning light that goes off if one or more of the tires falls 25% below the manufacturer’s pressure recommendations. This also means that every time Top Notch Mobile Tire Service changes a tire such as when it is removed to fix a flat, rotate tires or a new tire installed; our tire service technicians are going to reset the TPMS system. Resetting the TPMS system requires sensors be removed, reinstalled and re-activated after the tire change.
Flat Tire Repair
When you call Top Notch Mobile Tire Service for a flat tire, our mobile tire repair techs perform an on-site tire inspection to determine if your tire puncture is safe to repair or damaged to the point of replacement. In the event you do need a new tire, we offer you access to our complete tire inventory. And if you have a spare tire or donut tire, we can also install it for you.
